National Knowledge Forum for Care and Treatment of Addiction
Scholarly Communication - SURFshare Tenders
Status: Completed
Objective
The aim of the project is to bring about educational innovation and synergy between providers by expanding a pilot project from a Knowledge Forum for Care and Treatment of Addiction into a National Knowledge Forum for Care and Treatment of Addiction [Landelijke Kennisplein Verslavingszorg, LKV] where students, instructors, researchers, and practitioners in the field can find relevant information, form interactive communities, exchange knowledge with one another, develop learning activities, and keep track of professional developments.
Development of this knowledge portal will compel the stakeholders and future users to develop a shared logic that can promote interaction between the various types of knowledge generated by teaching, research, and actual practice, resulting in a knowledge forum that is constantly evaluated in support of professional development in the sector and during higher education programmes for the study of addiction.
The project will also facilitate innovation in shared knowledge generation by parties that have up to now carried out their work separately and sometimes on the basis of differing paradigms (universities of applied sciences and care institutions; universities of applied sciences and research universities). The result will be a national platform, i.e. a knowledge forum for the dissemination of knowledge products generated by universities (including universities of applied sciences), addiction care institutions, patients and family associations, and the sector organisation.
