FUTURE: Thematised Access to Expertise, Knowledge & Research for SMEs, Students and Experts
Scholarly Communication - SURFshare Tenders
Status: Completed
Objective
The purpose of the project is to encourage use of the Knowledge Bank for Universities of Applied Sciences [HBO Kennisbank], particularly by SMEs, by experimenting with thematic, targeted knowledge circulation between SMEs, students and researchers at universities of applied sciences, and the Knowledge Bank. The Knowledge Bank for Universities of Applied Sciences will be integrated, both technically and as regards organisation, into “IN-ZICHT-IN” (“Insight Into”), an INHolland approach to knowledge circulation whereby students and researchers provide insight – i.e. information and know-how – into relevant topics for SMEs. This will involve such topics as sustainable business practices, use of the Internet, and the importance of the knowledge economy. Students will make relevant knowledge from the Knowledge Bank available for SMEs, with new content being generated by students and researchers in the course of research projects for SMEs.
