SURF's Project Monitoring Committee was established to monitor the progress of SURF projects. It does so at the request of the director of the SURF Foundation.
The project monitoring takes place at a number of previously fixed times and according to previously established criteria. The project monitoring supplements the day-to-day monitoring by the SURF platform management and the organisation's project managers.
The Project Monitoring Committee is an independent committee of 12 people. The members are appointed in a personal capacity based on their skills and experience, taking into account the composition of the Committee's portfolio. The members are appointed for a period of three years, at the end of which they are eligible for re-election.
