Administrative organisation
SURF is the collaborative organisation of and for the institutes for higher education in the Netherlands. The administrative organisation of SURF has been set up from this perspective. At the level of administration, policy and operations representatives formulate, develop and test policies and control quality, with an understanding of the actual educational practice.
The statutory organs of the SURF Foundation, the holding company of SURF, are the General Board, the Executive Board and the Scientific Technical Council. The administrative representation is implemented within the three platforms: Research, Education and Organisation. The Commissie Projectbewaking (CP, Project Control Commission) is the organ that monitors the quality and progress of the projects.
