Route description
By public transport
The SURFfoundation office is at about 5-8 minutes' walking distance from Utrecht Central Station. Taking the central station hall as your starting point, follow the signs Jaarbeurs. Go down the escalator outside. You are now on Jaarbeursplein, with the Jaarbeurs and the Beatrix Theater on your left.
Cross the dual carriageway in front of you. This is Croeselaan. Turn right and walk towards the traffic lights. Turn left here; the road you are in now is Graadt van Roggenweg. You have arrived at the Hojel City Center. The SURFfoundation offices are on the fifth floor in Building D.
By car, from all directions
Coming from Amsterdam, take the A2 to Utrecht. From all other directions we recommend that you get onto the Utrecht ring and follow the signs for Amsterdam until you are on the A2.
On the A2 take exit 8 Utrecht/De Meern. Follow the signs first to Utrecht Centrum and then to Centrum/Jaarbeurs. After crossing the bridge, take the second exit on the large round-about (24 Oktoberplein). You are now on Graadt van Roggenweg driving towards the city centre. The SURFfoundation offices are at the end of Graadt van Roggenweg in the Hojel City Center on your right. Our offices are on the fifth floor.
Parking
We recommend either of two car parks:
- Jaarbeursterrein car park behind our offices
To park your car behind the SURFfoundation office building (at 12 Euros per day) turn right at the second set of traffic lights after 24 Oktoberplein and follow the signs Parkeren Jaarbeurs 300. Park your car and walk back to Graadt van Roggenweg. The entrance to building D of the Hojel City Center is at your right. The SURFfoundation offices are on the fifth floor.
- Beatrixtheater multi-storey car park
The Beatrixtheater multi-storey car park is at about 5 minutes' walking distance to our offices. It charges by the hour. To park your car here follow the signs Parkeren Beatrixtheater on Graadt van Roggenweg. Park your car and walk to Croeselaan. The Beatrix Theater is on your left. Cross the dual carriageway (Croeselaan) in front of you. Walk towards the traffic lights. Turn left here; the road you are in now is Graadt van Roggenweg. You have arrived at the Hojel City Center. The SURFfoundation offices are on the fifth floor in Building D.
